You knew it was going to happen. Another year for me, another year for the lucky few who get clean water thanks to this birthday campaign.

It is amazing, still after all these years, almost 1 billion people do not have access to clean drinking water. You have helped over the years bring clean drinking water to over 500 people, but there is still a lot of work that needs to be done. That is why for the 7th year in a row, I am asking for your support to help me save lives.

Living in California we have the privilege of Instacarting or Postmating or Amazon Priming bottled water to our doors. If it isn't to our house in 2 hours, we complain. Imagine not having the opportunity to do this. In these remote villages of Africa, South East Asia and Latin America, people have to walk up to 4 hours just to collect DIRTY water, not even Evian.

I am asking that this year, like the years in the past, that instead of birthday gifts, you help me save lives. With your help, we have donated over $14,000. This means over 500 people have received clean drinking water and have been given a second chance to succeed. Clean drinking water isn't just for hygiene, it allows children to go to school, women to work and for families to live happier and safer lives.
