Once again, my birthday has arrived and guess what... clean water is my number one goal!

I would first like to thank you for making it this far. As you may know, I truly believe that access to clean drinking water is something everyone should have. I see so many people wasting water daily and it hurts to know how many people across the world do not have the opportunity to drink water half as clean as the water we waste. Want to guess how many? Nearly 1 billion people!

Just like last year, I am donating my birthday to charity:water. They have an amazing campaign which donates 100% of all monies received to clean water initiatives. Last year I was able to raise $1,494 to help build a well and this year I am looking to beat that!

If you could please donate what you could, it would be greatly appreciated. Whether it be $1 just to show your support, $5 to show a little bit more, or $24 so that you are donating $1 for every year of my life, you would be a hero!

Also, you might be curious as to why I chose the photo I did. When I was in Israel we went to a water treatment plant and we learned about how dirty water really is. Imagine if this was your only choice for survival.
