Why Alexander Kantor is fundraising for clean water

How about we change dirty 30 to clean 30. Let's give more clean water out this year than we ever have before.

This year is a little different. The world is in a different place but unfortunately, there are still almost 1 billion people without access to clean water. Clean water isn't just for drinking though, it is also important for cooking and most importantly, for sanitation

This year I am choosing to focus on sanitation. You may or may not know this, but there is a pandemic going on right now. What we have heard on repeat since day one is "wash your hands to slow the spread". Imagine not being able to wash your hands because you do not have access to clean water or soap.

Once again I have decided to donate my birthday to solve a very solvable problem in the world. We take clean water for granted in the United States and don't understand that it is a gift. Turn on your tap, get clean water. In other parts of the world, it goes a little different. It goes like this, "walk 10 miles, maybe get dirty water". Together we can change this, and I hope you will help me in changing this.

I can't express the amount of gratitude I have for all my friends and family who have continued to support my Charity:Water campaigns over the past 8 years. You have helped me raise over $20,000 towards clean water wells around the world.

This year I am giving out party favors. Donate $120 or more, and I will send YOU a copy of Thirst. Thirst is one of the best books I have read in recent years. It is written by Scott Harrison, President and CEO of Charity:Water. It is the real life story of how a club promoter in New York City turned his life around with the sole purpose of saving the world and bringing clean water to those most in need.

Thank you
