For the past 5 years, I've 'donated' my birthday to charity: water and have raised over $8,000 for them! Huge THANK YOU to everyone who has joined me year after year in giving back to this incredible organization. I never ask folks to give to an organization I haven't given to myself (practice whatchu preach, yo) and I can assure you ALL your dollars go straight to the field.
I know a lot of folks are skeptical about donating money to an organization...but I've volunteered with the folks at charity: water at their headquarters (in the best city in the world aka NY duh) and they are LEGIT. I promise. I'm a writer. Research is what I do best.
So, this year, help me help them to build wells and provide clean water to folks who need it. A million thank you's!
