Some women have to walk MILES and HOURS every single day just for water (that's not even clean). Let's change that!

Water seems to be everywhere we go. When we’re thirsty, we flip a handle or push a button. When we’re dirty, we twist a shower knob. When our garden needs watering, when our pasta needs to be boiled, when we use the bathroom -- water is just an arm's length away.
But, in many developing countries, women and children walk for HOURS, up and down mountains, just to collect water that can make them really, really sick.
So what am I doing? I'm giving up my 23rd birthday in hopes of raising $2,300 to help the wonderful folks at charity: water bring clean water to the lovely people in the Sahel region of Africa.
I'm going to walk up and down and all around Manhattan (approx. 14 miles) on my actual birthday with a yellow Jerry can to raise awareness and hopefully more money!
