April 7th was my 30th birthday! I don’t usually ask for presents, but this year I’ve decided to make an exception. But instead of asking people to buy me a beer or take me to dinner, I’m asking all my friends and family to donate $30 to charity: water (one dollar per year!) so that we can give clean water to people who truly need it. My goal is to raise $5,000 by May 15th. To up the ante, I pledge to do 5,000 push-ups in the 30 days of April--one push-up per dollar!

Every day, 5,000 kids under age 5 die from water-related illnesses...but it doesn't have to be that way. I want YOU to help me bring a smile to the face of someone who has never known what clean water is like. One smile at a time, we will change the face of the earth by conquering the water crisis!

100% of every dollar you donate will be used to build clean water projects in developing countries. That's right...100%! That's because charity: water funds their operating costs separately through a group of private donors, so--literally--every cent of your donation will go directly toward someone in need.
