Today, on my birthday, I see myself celebrating another great year of my life. I've met great people, had some amazing opportunities, and learned so much. Now, with my Charity Water Campaign, I hope to pass on my good fortune to others. Clean drinking water is a major problem in many parts of the world. I couldn't imagine a life wherein the most essential of necessities is not guaranteed; the realization that I live in that very world, and with so many luxuries, is a tough one to swallow. My birthday campaign is the least I can do to help.

A $20 donation can provide clean water to one person, giving them a gift much greater than anything I could ever receive. $20 is all you need to permanently change somebody's life for the better. $20! Think of how often you've spent $20 here or there, and the things on which you've spent it. Imagine the impact we can have if we each gave even half of that! By donating to Charity Water, we can help eradicate unsafe drinking water conditions, and I can have the one and only gift I want every year: to give to those in desperate need of help.

I beg of you, if you were planning on spending money on me, instead put that money towards my campaign, <i>please</i>. To those of you who know me, you know that I consider a wonderful year with my friends and family my present; I don't need/want a birthday celebration or anything extra. And to those of you who weren't planning on celebrating my birthday with me, please consider a small donation to my fund. Every little bit counts, and it means a lot not only to me but to those whose lives depend on the help we can provide.
