goal
Over 2 billion people worldwide lack access to clean drinking water, a basic necessity that affects every aspect of life. The absence of safe water causes a ripple of severe issues: waterborne diseases spread easily, especially in children, leading to millions of preventable deaths each year.
It is often women and children who must walk long distances to gather water, reducing time for education or work. Without clean water, healthcare systems are strained, and sanitation suffers, increasing the likelihood of infection and stunting overall development. By donating to clean water projects, we can help break this cycle, giving communities the foundation for healthier, more prosperous lives.
Because the administrative and marketing costs are covered by third party sponsors, 100% of every donation you make will fund charity: water's work providing access to clean water projects around the world.
Every £30 raised will provide a lifetime of clean water to one person. charity: water will even report back with details of where your money went, and how it’s helping when the project is initiated.
That’s why we're doing this fundraiser.
Best of luck!! You’ll smash it!
What a great cause, good luck!
