Here’s the thing: I don’t like running. At all. At the start of 2024 I'd ran a grand total of zero marthons... and yet, last year I ran four marathons. FOUR. One was a 90km ultramarathon, one was up a literal mountain with 2,237m of elevation gain, and one was entirely solo in the rain... because apparently, I have a questionable relationship with pain and challenge.

Now I’m gearing up for my fifth marathon this April. This time, I’m running for more than just sheer mental tougness. I’m once again raising money for Charity:water, an incredible organisation that brings clean drinking water to people who need it most.

Here’s why this matters: millions of people do not have access to safe water. It’s a basic human need that changes everything—health, education, and livelihoods. Every pound raised will go directly to funding water projects, which means your donation really will make a difference.
