I turned 75 on January 19th and am celebrating my Diamond Jubilee this year! Please help me celebrate this milestone and make lives easier for people in developing nations by providing clean, safe drinking water to them through this charity:water birthday campaign. The positive impact of these clean water systems affects women and girls most, because they are often the ones responsible for providing drinking water for the family and, without access to clean drinking water many carry heavy jugs of water many miles to bring dirty and often unsafe water to their families. This may also keep them from going to school and continuing their education. This is such a simple yet critical thing to provide for these families and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for caring and sharing.
