I'm grateful to be turning 65 this year and to have lived a long, mostly healthy life. But, unlike me, and probably you, millions of kids around the world won't have the opportunity to live full lives because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. This makes me sad and I'm asking you to help me give those kids and their families a brighter future.
I'm asking for you to sponsor me by donating my age in dollars or whatever you can offer to be part of this effort. Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 21 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.
