The U-Pick Video Game Marathon for Charity is entering its third year, and we're proud to be dedicating yet another fundraiser to helping charity: water solve the water crisis for good.
Our co-founders (Stephonee and Grant) are happily giving up their birthdays this year to help bring clean water to the Sahel region of Mali and Niger. The Sahel is a narrow strip of land in Africa just below the Sahara Desert. This area is frequently affected by drought and famine, and access to clean water is rare.
100% of everything we raise will directly fund water projects. And when those projects are finished, charity: water will send us proof in pictures and GPS coordinates, so we can see the actual people and communities we impacted.
