Life is Important. The world is in a state of distress and turmoil. A friend and I were just reflecting upon how life is becoming more fragile as more futures and even the present are increasingly uncertain. There is little room for error and to take things for granted. Seize moments and days. Make your life as fulfilling and good for you and your loved as possible.
Life is short and our time together is priceless.

I cannot be more thankful to the people, experiences and moments in mine and only hope that others get a chance to live life fully and have at least a fighting chance to enjoy the good in any given moment.

It makes my heart smile to know that last year, due to the generosity of amazing friends and family, we were able to raise $2,450 and serve 122 people with water which benefited 24 families with the gift of clean water which enables them to live more fulfilling lives. http://mycharitywater.org/tinahui30

Many of us live removed from the very desperate conditions of others. Millions of people don't live to see their fifth birthdays. And why? Because they don't have access to clean, safe water. Watch the video, it's powerful and shows you what the impact and difference that clean and safe water makes.

That is why, for my birthday, which is February 14th, I'd like to ask everyone I know to stop as we did last year and give $31 (a donation in te amount of my age) so that someone else may get a chance to savor the moment better -- every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund clean water projects in developing nations. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll be able to see the communities we've helped!
