5 years ago on April 9th, my mom and dad adopted me from Ethiopia and brought me to the United States. Adopted kids celebrate the day they were united with their adoptive families and call it "Gotcha Day". In honor of my Gotcha Day, my family is raising $1,000 for clean water projects. This means a lot to me because I used to drink dirty water in Ethiopia. I have helped build wells in Ethiopia, Central Africa Republic and the Sahel Region because every one deserves clean water! I'd be so happy if you'd help me raise another $1,000 for my Gotcha Day!
