On September 12, I'm turning 35. This year, like years in the past, I don't want presents or a party. I want clean water for the people of Rwanda.
Women and children in Rwanda walk for hours every day, up and down mountains, just to collect water from rivers that will likely make them sick.
charity: water has a solution, and we can actually do something about the problem. Just $65 can give someone in Rwanda clean water.
So I'm asking everyone for my age in donations. Give $35 or $350, or any amount you can, and help me give life's most basic need.
The best part is that 100% of the money we raise will directly fund water projects in Rwanda, and when those projects are complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the impact we made. The best gift I can think of... giving others the chance at a healthy life. Join me!
