Together we have raised $3,287 for clean water in Ethiopia, Rwanda, Malawi, Bangladesh, and Mali for my 7 previous birthdays.

This year for August 13th (my 42nd) let's raise another $500 to bring life-changing clean water to 12 more people. It's my favorite birthday gift!

Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

Why I started doing this:
I heard Scott Harrison, founder of Charity:Water speak about the amazing shift his life took. He went from a successful indulgent nightclub promoter to a dedicated, compassionate leader working tirelessly for the benefit of people across the planet. After hearing the passion in his voice, and the huge impact that a simple resource like water can have on the quality of life of so many people, I had to get involved.
