Hey friends, It's year 10 of my Birthday water tradition!

Together we have raised $5,613 for clean water in Ethiopia, Rwanda, Malawi, Bangladesh, Mali, and Burkina Faso for my 9 previous birthdays.

Let's raise another $900 to bring life-changing clean water to 22 more people. It's my favorite birthday gift!

Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

Why I started doing this: I heard Scott Harrison, founder of Charity:Water speak about the amazing shift his life took. He went from a successful indulgent nightclub promoter to a dedicated, compassionate leader working tirelessly for the benefit of people across the planet. After hearing the passion in his voice, and the huge impact that a simple resource like water can have on the quality of life of so many people, I had to get involved.
