There are 748 million people in the world living without access to clean water. Let's change that!

I'm turning 37 on August 17th and this means it's time for my 5th ANNUAL CHARITY WATER BIRTHDAY CAMPAIGN!!! I am so proud of all we've accomplished over the years in raising $7,619 for clean water in developing nations! I am so thankful for the generosity of my friends, co-workers and family and I want you to know we truly ARE making an impact by working together to end the water crisis.

A couple cool facts: When I started raising money for charity water 5 years ago, there were over 1 billion people without clean water in the world...since then, that number has decreased to 748 Million! The number of children dying daily from water related illnesses has decreased from 4,200 to 1,400!!!!! This is something to get very excited about and you should feel proud of your contribution to this cause!

Every year I am compelled to start my campaign again for a multitude of reasons, but the overarching theme is always: we are so BLESSED to live where we live and have the luxuries we do. WATER is a basic necessity and if I can increase someone else's quality of life or help them to live another day by raising money so they can have clean water, I'm IN!

My goal is to raise $3,700 for my 37th birthday which would bring our total for 5 years to over $10k raised!!! In lieu of any gifts or parties this year, I'm asking for a $37 charity:water donation from each of my friends and every penny goes directly to fund water projects. Your $37 gift will give one person clean water for 20 years. That's life CHANGING!
