Hey guys. I’m Ellie.

My 9th birthday is coming up, so this year, instead of presents from my friends, I’m asking them to donate to a charity group called Charity:water. You can give $20 or maybe $9 (for each year of my life) or whatever you want to!

Charity:water builds water wells to help people who don’t have clean water in their country or area. If these people don’t have clean water to drink, it can cause sickness, dehydration, or sometimes even death. About a billion people in the world are living with dirty water, and I need your help.

Since it’s my 9th birthday, my goal is to raise $900. I’m not going to be able to get to my goal with just the kids at my birthday party, so I'm asking lots of other friends and family to donate, too.
