Regardless of how hard I try each year I still manage to get older. The birthdays just keep on coming and coming. The gifts, parties, and dinners over the years have been amazing… but they’re always just temporary. I want something lasting and I want this year to be different. I really don’t want my birthday to be about stuff. I'm giving my birthday up.
I'm turning 29 this Sunday, Dec 11th and instead of asking for gifts or a party, I'm asking for $29 or more (or less) from everyone I know to build freshwater projects for people in developing countries. Almost 1 billion people in this world are living without clean water. Many will contract diseases, and 30,000 die every week. But they don’t have to. Guys, we can make a real difference.
My birthday (and Christmas) wish this year is not for more gifts I don't need; it's to give clean and safe drinking water to some of the billion people living without it.
Please join me.
Thanks so much,
Jason
God Bless bro!
Happy birthday Jason--and a great cause!
