But if the children and women in these villages can drag, carry, and pull these things everyday, he can do it too.. so that hopefully they will never have to again.***

Over the years, we've been blessed with some amazing birthday parties and gifts, and we wouldn't trade the times we've had and the memories made for anything. We are truly thankful.

But this year, as we both turn 30 (Chrissy on 11/19, Jason on 12/11), we don't want any gifts. We just want more than anything to multiply the love and generosity that our amazing friends and family show us and share it with people who are fighting everyday -- not to survive the rat race, not to climb the corporate ladder, but just to live.. because they don't have access to clean drinking water. It's 2012, and people are still dying from this, and it's not ok.

All political/economic views aside, we're not asking for handouts. We're asking for help to build a well where there was no well, to bring health where there was sickness and death, to save and change people's lives.
