There are 748 million people in the world living without access to clean water. Let's change that!
My birthday is June 25th and I'd love to CELEBRATE WATER with you! This past year I have dealt with several medical challenges, becoming especially aware of how crucial it is to have medicine and, even more fundamentally, clean water. Most of us, myself included, take pristine drinking water for granted, but I'd love to change that, at least for one day. We're lucky, and I would love for a bunch of families to feel lucky too because of their new access to clean water!
I'm asking for my age in dollars, or really any amount you feel comfortable donating. Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, Charity: Water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 21 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we help - so cool!
