Most of us enjoy clean water everyday without giving it a second thought, but millions of people around the world don’t have that luxury.
Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation, kids miss class because they have to walk for water instead of attend school, and women must give their time to finding water instead of to their families or a job. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections, and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

Water for People, one of Charity Water's local partners, has an amazing mission: "Everyone Forever." This year I'm dedicating my birthday to that mission, my 5th year pledging to clean water, and it simply gets more gratifying each birthday. We are all in this together. One world, one environment, one species helping each other. We cannot stop until our basic human needs are met. Safe, clean drinking water. For Everyone Forever.
