What would you do for clean water? For the 703 million people living without it, the answer is anything. And they do: they walk miles every day, in treacherous conditions and extreme heat, just to access water that makes them sick — or worse.

That’s why I’m doing this fundraiser.

My name is Matt, I’m 29 years old, and I’ve always held a deep personal belief that all people on our shared earth deserve access to life’s basic needs, including clean drinking water.

In December of 2023 as I was reflecting on the previous year of my life and developing my goals and aspirations for 2024, I felt an urge to actively prioritize making the world a better place and to help others who may have been dealt a more challenging hand in life than myself.

So, I decided to make one of my priorities for 2024 to raise $10,000 to help bring clean drinking water to the 703 million people that are currently living without it.
