In a week time it’ll be my birthday and if you’ve been around this past year, you may have witnessed how I made major changes to the way I live my life.

I decided that I would take extra care of the people I love since you never know when they may leave you. I decided that I would only use my time on things that I love doing… time is too precious to waste it on things that I hate… but above all, I realised how incredibly lucky I was.

Lucky to have inspiring people around me. Lucky to have a home, daily food and clean water. Lucky to be able to visit amazing places and travel the world. Lucky to be alive…

So this year I decided that I wanted to do a little something on my birthday to celebrate another happy year on earth. On July I met Scott Harrison and got to know his mind-blowing charity –Charity Water. He invited us to donate our birthdays to raise money so people all over the world could have clean water and obviously I said yes.

So here I am, one week before my birthday asking you to help me make this one a very special one.

Just imagine I’m with you on September the 4th and that you feel like buying me a drink…or two or … well, since I won’t be able to travel all over the world to collect my pints, how about donating that money to my birthday wish?? If everyone donated 1 dollar, 1 pound, 10 pesos, we could easily raise enough money to help people in Rwanda to have clean water.

I really hope you join my cause and celebrate with me one of my happiest years on earth…
