Every year, we work with CASA as our local charity. We buy Christmas presents for dozens of children in the foster care system. We love the charity because the donation we make goes directly to the children, and boy do they need some good Christmas cheer.

This year, we are adding an international charity into the mix. As many of you know, our daughter Alexandra has joined charity: water as their associate copywriter. Please Help me celebrate my birthday by contributing to clean water instead of a birthday gift.

Can you even imagine not having water at the tap, clean water?

For the 703 million people living without it, the answer is anything. And they do: they walk miles every day, in treacherous conditions and extreme heat, just to access water that makes them sick — or worse.

That’s why I’m doing this fundraiser. charity: water challenged me to do something to help those who would do anything for water that’s safe to drink.
