Last year TNL Church began a new Christmas tradition. Together we wanted to sponsor a well to provide safe and clean water to a village in a developing country.
In 2010, instead of one well, the community of TNL Church gave over $16,000 to provide clean and safe drinking water to over 750 people in 3 villages.
This Christmas we are again asking TNL Church community, our friends, and our families to giving one less gift and instead give that amount to charity: water.
This Christmas our goal is to raise $5,000. $5,000 provides clean water for a village of over 250 people.
One hundred percent of every penny will go directly to the water project and and every charity: water project is proven using GPS technology and geo-tagged on Google Earth. Together, we'll be able to see the gift we gave.
This holiday season we want to give more than gifts that fit in boxes. Together we want to give the gift of life.
