Every day, 5,000 kids under the age of 5 die from water-related illnesses. Let's help change that!
Imagine if you had no clean water; no filtered water in your sink and no clean shower. Imagine being a little girl or boy walking miles each day to gather water in 50 lb jugs. Imagine missing school, so that your family could have water; even polluted water.
While this might seem unimaginable, it’s a reality for children in Rwanda.
My company (CLEARLINK) is going to make a difference. In 2 months we are aiming to raise $50,000 to help build sustainable water systems for the people of Rwanda.
I'm participating in CLEARLINK's first annual 'Walk4Water' to raise awareness and funds for the Rwanda'n people. My colleagues and I will start walking in Las Vegas, NV on September 28, 2014 and end in Salt Lake City.
