Since the 1980s, Symbiont’s people have provided a variety of services across the continent, most notably waste-to-energy and wastewater treatment systems that maintain the integrity of local waterways. Environmental stewardship and the wellbeing of communities are at the heart of what we do.

Still, 1 in 10 people lack access to clean water. Every day about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters. These can be made possible with project funding.

To commemorate Symbiont’s 38th birthday, we’re celebrating by donating our birthday to raise funds that will build clean water projects around the world.
