I am doing this because charity:water is partnering with my church, Mosaic to give up our birthdays and to provide clean water in third world countries. I am turning 35 but I don't feel all that special. I am challenged to think about the legacy I am leaving behind and I really want to make an impact in this world. I think this is a start. My dream is to be an advocate for people who can't speak for themselves and I think raising money for clean water is an important step in that process. So I hope you will partner with me and give up a few cocktails and donate in lieu of gifts.
