I'm donating my Birthday this year to raise money to support the Water4Ben project - please consider donating to this very worthy effort.

To honor Ben on his 21st birthday, my amazing wife Susan started a campaign to raise funds through Charity : Water to drill a well in his honor. Ben was known to fight for those who often could not fight for themselves, so Charity : Water is a fitting cause. This very worthy charity provides clean water to people in developing nations and has literally helped millions of people avoid death and disease. This is one of those rare opportunities to do something relatively small that can have a huge impact on the lives of others. Our goal was to raise $10,000, and through the wonderful generosity of family and friends, we’ve exceeded our goal, which will allow us to fund an even more meaningful project! Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.
