Y’all know charity: water has my heart! My 28th birthday isn’t about me - it’s about them.
663 MILLION people in the world live without access to clean and safe drinking water. But we can change that! There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean and safe water to communities around the world.
100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped. So far they’ve funded over 28,000 water projects for 8.2 million people around the world. Let’s help fund even more!
And charity: water doesn't joke around about their 100% model; even credit card processing fees are reimbursed. All operations costs are funded through a separate group called The Well so all of your money goes to clean water.
Last year we, beat my goal and the money is hard at work in Bangladesh.
