I'm not big with celebrating birthdays - not because I don't think they're special. But I'm a summer birthday and have generally always been on the road in some fashion, so I like to keep things low key and don't throw huge parties. It's a little weird for me to ask for gifts or anything like that, but I made a commitment to do this a while back...so here's to following through. $5000 as a total goal seems like a lot but if I'm ever going to think bigger, it might as well be for a good cause.
