Every day, I wake up and take a shower. I brush my teeth. I wash my breakfast dishes. I get to take advantage of free water from a faucet 30 feet from my desk, and sometimes I even pay $2 for a plastic bottle of "purified" water.

Meanwhile, in the rest of the world there are women and children who walk miles in each direction to find dirty water which they may or may not be able to purify. They carry it on their backs, returning home to maybe drink a little, use a little to cook with and if they're lucky take a bathe or wash their clothes.

This year, I don't want anything for Christmas. I'm already tremendously blessed, so don't get me anything. Instead of going shopping for me, figure out what you might have spent on a gift, and give it to the world's thirsty people here in my campaign. Together we'll change this world one glass of water at a time!
