Water is a very basic necessity in life. Its something you and I have never worried about losing because its always right there. We can go to the kitchen, bathroom, hose... Its always there.
Did you know that 800 million people on this planet do not have access to clean drinking water? That means one in nine people do not have access to the most basic human need. Most women walk for hours each day to get a small amount of dirty, unsafe water. Imagine if had to drink contaminated water that gave you diseases, which lead to death. Imagine if you had to walk for miles just to get water...
This is a huge problem. A problem that can be solved, but only with your help. Charity Water is a non-profit organization helping bring safe drinking water to millions. Not only that, they give 100% of all donations straight towards the water project. They even reimburse your credit card fees. And when the project is done, they will show you the water project your money went to.
Just 5,000 dollars can provide a community of 250 people with clean, safe water. My goal is to get that 5,000 dollars and make a difference. There is a lot of need in this world and i am starting here.
