goal
Dear Friend,
Can you believe that over a billion people don’t have access to clean drinking water? This past year we had the opportunity to visit Ethiopia with charity: water, and see firsthand the impact clean water can make on people’s lives.
We were so moved that we decided instead of doing a wedding registry, we would build a well! We thought this would be a fun thing for us all to do together that would have lasting impact. We can all look back on this day as the day we gave a community a life force that allows them to have happier, healthier lives.
The goal is $10,000, as that is the average cost to build one.
If we can hit it, the entire lot of funds will be directed to a village, where the well will be built! We will all receive updates on its progress, GPS coordinates, and pictures when it’s up and flowing. None of the monies collected will go to charity: water staff or marketing - all straight to the well!
The link to donate is on the left, any amount helps and it’s all tax-deductible. We appreciate you being a part of our special day and this special project.
All our love,
Sarah & Craig
