There are 748 million people in the world living without access to clean water. We have a curse to break!
Hey guys,
Two causes for celebration: (1) My birthday is almost here, and (2) ABC's Once Upon A Time resumes this Sunday. If you're a fan of the show you'll remember that Emma's 28th birthday was significant: she was destined to break a curse.
This year I'm turning 28, and while I'm not the savior of anything, we definitely have a curse to break!
Millions of people around the world don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. This curse is worse than anything Rumpelstiltsken and the Evil Queen ever set in motion. And we can break it.
Instead of gifts this year, I'm exercising my birthday powers by asking for my age in dollars (28) from everyone I know. Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 21 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.
It's true: all magic comes with a price. Help me reach my goal. Please donate to my birthday campaign!
Y'all are awesome,
Sarah Lynn
