My 27th birthday was 11/20 and everyone had been asking me what I was doing to celebrate...

This year I just wanted to celebrate life.

I'm really grateful to have lived another happy, healthy year and I'm especially thankful now that I know millions of children around the world don't live to see their fifth birthday because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. Women and children in developing countries are walking hours a day to get water, carrying a 50 lb jug in the process. Each family uses about 2 jugs a day....we use the equivalent of 40.

For my birthday this year, I'm asking for you to help me change that. Instead of buying me birthday drinks, donate my age in dollars and 100% of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. The dope part is that charity: water will also show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed so we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped. (Projects take about 18 months to complete.)
