You’re thirsty, or hungry, or need to clean, or….
OK… how many times today will you turn on a faucet, or flush a toilet?
What would you do if there was no water?
Would you pick up a 5 gal. jug, then walk a mile or 2, or more… to a pond or a stream?
Would you wait in line there for water, because several of your neighbors are already in line?
Then you could finally fill your jug, even though the water is usually filthy and unfit. Then carry it home.
Right now, this is daily reality for about 1 out of every 10 people in the world: 663 million.
Thankfully, more and more people each year are being helped by organizations like Charity: Water.
Charity: Water provides wells, filters, springs, and pipelines.
Their record: 9 years/over 17,000 projects/helping over 5 million people/ 24 countries/25 Partners.
