Responsys first partnered with charity: water in 2011 not only to raise awareness about this great organization, but to launch Responsys Gives Back -- a program enabling our employees to give back to the causes that they care about.

The charity: water vision is simple; solve the world's water crisis. With 800 million people without access to clean water, this crisis causes more deaths than those caused by all types of violence -- including war.

March 22, 2013 was World Water Day, and we wanted to do something special to support charity: water. In addition to encouraging our employees and customers to take the charity: water birthday pledge, we created a water walk in our San Francisco office.

The water walk is meant to give people an idea of what it's like to carry full water cans a fraction of the way those without clean water travel -- and our way of appreciating the clean water running from our taps. And to top it off, Responsys will donate to charity: water for every employee that walks!
