As expected by most of you …. I am giving away my birthday gifts for the third year … and donating this to Charity Water… to help availing clean water to deprived kids…
Over the past two campaigns, we raised a handsome 21,000 USD , that was good enough to provide clean water to 700 people between Ethiopia and Mali….
Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.
It's the third year I don't get birthday gifts , and am enjoying this ;)
The average gift i usually get is around 100 USD , so i am expecting from my friends the same since it is going to an even better cause…
However , for every 30 dollars , a kid gets access to clean water… and this on its own a great gift.
As proven in the previous 2 years , 100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we all helped. Similar to the ones that I have been sharing before.
