Dear friends and family,

It's that time of the year again to reflect on what we are grateful for and share the love with others. I have been blessed with great friends and family, and all my needs are being met through the resources available to me. That being said, not everyone is so lucky, and things I take for granted and love, like access to clean water, is not something many families and children have. I simply can't imagine being in the position of having to give a child a cup of dirty water with bacteria that could cost them their life, simply because I have no better option.

Because of this, I am fundraising for charity: water during this holiday season; they use 100% of the funds donated by individuals to bring water to communities that don't have access to clean water. Their methods are fairly sustainable and effective (building water wells, training the community members to take care of it, etc.) and they are great at keeping transparency of where the funds go.

I know everyone has their own unique financial situation with fundraising and donation goals, so anything you can give, even just $1, would be greatly appreciated! On average $40 gives access to water to one person for 20 years, so just giving up your next few Starbucks lattes would make a huge impact.
