On October 18, 2020, I ran the Detroit Half Marathon and successfully raised enough funds to provide 55 people in need access to clean water through my charity: water campaign. Learning more about charity: water’s mission was truly eye-opening and because I had such an incredible experience with the campaign, I want to keep the ball rolling and continue to run for a cause.

I’m excited to announce that for the next year, I will be attempting a different running challenge every month, in hopes of raising awareness for the water crisis in the world. These 12 challenging events will test my strength, endurance, and ridiculousness.

I'm kicking off this campaign with something I've set my sights on for while; the "Big Mac Mile." I will attempt to eat one Big Mac, every lap around the track, as fast as I can (that’s four Big Macs and four laps).

I hope everyone enjoys these fun challenges and considers spreading the word or contributing to the cause. 100% of the money we raise will be used to build clean water projects. When they’re completed, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see for ourselves which communities we're helping.

The water crisis is huge but it’s solvable through the generosity of supporters like you.
