Hello everybody! My birthdays coming up soon, September 16 to be exact, and if you know me at all, you know I love birthdays more than anything. David says I love birthdays because I love getting presents, so I've decided to prove him wrong.

Instead of getting birthday presents this year, I'm encouraging friends and family to donate money ($23 for 23 years) to my campaign at charity:water. There are so many people out there that need this to be healthy and happy, and I think I could do without the fancy soap or stationary this year, especially to do something good for the world.

If we can raise $2300 (my goal) by November 19, I will throw a big birthday party (for everyone that had a birthday in 2010) in honor of the effort. So if that's not enough incentive to donate, I don't know what is.
