Another year and another charity:water campaign. This month is big for me...a birthday and a wedding! I almost didn't start this campaign because of how incredibly crazy this September will be for me, but then I thought about how terribly selfish that would've been. Why not give others the opportunity to give? The worst that could happen is we don't meet our goal, but something is still better than nothing! So, David and I are also asking people to honor us and our marriage (and my birthday!) by giving to this campaign that is so near to our hearts.

I am so grateful to know such wonderfully generous people. For last year's campaign, we came up with $2,538! Incredible. This year, charity:water is focusing their efforts on purchasing more equipment in order to serve more people in more places. They need our help, how could we say no? Anything you can spare is appreciated, even if its a couple of dollars. I heard a story about a little girl who saved up money in her piggy bank to give to a charity:water campaign and gave something like $3. When that's all you have clinking around in your piggy bank, $3 is a lot.

Thanks for supporting me this year! We are so excited to start our lives together and hope that through this campaign we can share that joy with others around the world. We love you so much and thank you for your generous spirits!
