goal
On July 10th, I'm turning 44 and while I'm not thrilled about being 44, I am blessed to be celebrating another birthday when there are millions of people who don't live to see their fifth birthdays.
Why? Because they don't have access to clean, safe water. Something we take for granted every single day; I know I do as I buy my bottles of water (yeah that needs to stop) and get clean tap water in any restaurant I go to.
Instead of money that would be spent on dinners and drinks, I'm asking for you to support a cause that means a lot to me. I signed up to donate $100, which is not lofty by any means, but will help 5 people.
Every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund clean water projects in developing nations. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll be able to see the communities we've helped!
My goal is to raise $100 by my birthday, July 10th.
Please join me to make this birthday count.
Thank you!
Lots of love,
Michelle
