With the state of the world as I approach my 31st birthday this year, I feel more compelled than ever to use this celebration of my life to better the lives of others.

As a small step, I will be drinking water, and only water, for the month of February. No coffee. No alcohol. No soda. Just water. Over the course of the month I hope this serves as a reminder to myself and others that drinking water is not a punishment. It's a gift.

While I'm not asking you to give up your favorite beverages, I would love your support in helping to provide clean drinking water around the world.

100% of the money we raise will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.

I have been supporting charity: water for a number of years and I truly believe in their mission to end the water crisis. In a time where the bad things in the world often feel overwhelming, I hope we can make at least a small difference together.
