This year, Muscles Build Wells is taking fundraising to a whole nother level in a 3-part team relay!
Each 4-member team will compete to fill their wells with more water than their opponents. This is no easy relay. The audience will be participating also, buying challenges for teams in the form of wet projectiles and missing water.
Why do we encourage such a silly event?! It's all in the name of building wells with charity: water!
For almost a billion people on the planet, water clean water is hard to come by. Millions of women and children have to walk hours each day to get water from muddy ponds and rivers. And much of that water is infested with bacteria, parasites or leeches.
The goal is to raise $500. charity: water will use 100% of the money to directly fund the water projects in the field. Even better, when the projects are complete, they'll show me just where our money went. That's right -- we'll be able to see the GPS coordinates, photos and other details about the community we've impacted!
Together, we can make a dent in the global water crisis. I hope you'll consider participating, playing, and donating!!
Let the games begin!
This is the amount raised in cash from the event. Thank you to all who participated and donated!
