Mina turned 1 on the 29th August and she is running a charity:water campaign to celebrate!

Our little Mina turned one last week! Living in New York she has some of the cleanest water in the world to drink. It breaks my heart to think of the babies in Mali and Niger who have no choice but to drink dirty water which makes them sick.

So little Mina is going to do something to help! By giving up her first ever birthday, we're hoping to raise $3000 for Mali and Niger in the Sahel region of Africa (as part of charity:water's annual September Campaign). EVERY SINGLE dollar donated to this campaign will go to the field to help build clean water projects. Not a penny (or an Aussie cent!) goes towards charity:water overhead. Its all part of our 100% model!

PLUS as an added incentive, here at charity:water we have an incredible supporter who has pledged up to $1,000,000 to match donations made to campaigns to the Sahel. So not only will every cent go to the field, it will be doubled! When the water projects are finished, charity: water will send through proof in pictures and GPS coordinates, so we can see the actual people and communities we impacted.
