America spends around $500 billion dollars each year on Christmas gifts, that comes out to more than $600 per person. We also spend another $8 billion on decorating for Christmas. This year, let's give the gift of water to people who are desperately in need of it. It is hard to believe that more than a billion people are living without water on our planet. Some walk miles every singles day to the nearest source: a parasite-infested stream. They then have to lug it back to their families. The water is not even clean in the first place, resulting in them suffering from preventable diseases. A shocking 45,000 people die each day from waterborne illnesses.
My mission is to raise $125 by Christmas this year. 100% of every penny raised will go directly to the water projects.
